Analyst: Systems Accountant

The primary objective is to create and maintain efficiencies by the design of system tools for reconciling, gather detailed requirements for the fix of system issues and ensure that these are prioritised accordingly in collaboration with the Finance Product Owner.

Secondary objectives are to assist Accountant: Systems and Reconciliations with the upskilling of the team, assist with design of reconciliation and risk management processes for new Capitec products and
services and to assist with the preparation of ad hoc audit deliverables

The aim is to improve on and add value to the Banks’ operations and to assist with the accomplishment of its strategic objectives by enforcing a systematic and structured method in order to enhance the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes in an efficient and economic approach.

Experience

Minimum:

  • 2 – 3 years relevant Financial / Accounting experience in a high pressure financial environment

Ideal:

  • 3 – 5 years relevant Financial / Accounting experience in a high pressure financial environment

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
  • A relevant qualification in Finance or Accounting – Financial Accounting
  • A Relevant Professional Qualification
